In this blog post we will go through the age calculator on this website with an example calculation.
On the homepage https://www.agefromdate.com/ we enter the following date of birth: 17 August 1983. We performed this calculation on 06 April 2023.
Thus, we get the following result:
From here we can scroll down and find out more about our life:
It’s amazing to think we have lived 1.2 BILLION seconds, isn’t it?!
Can you imagine we spent nearly a third of our life sleeping? 13.2 years! That seems like a waste, but studies show that sleeping is incredibly important to the human body and mind. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to survive, and with too little sleep our lives can become quite chaotic and of low quality.
Also, can you believe that we have laughed 144,770 times in our life? Almost unbelievable. Of course, this is based on an average human, you may have laughed even more than that!
Finally, up to this point, our heart has beat 1.5 BILLION times! Now that’s impressive.
Imagine you were an animal for second. If you imagined yourself to be a dog, you’d now be 6.7 years old, but if you imagined yourself to be a turtle, you’d be as old as 98.7 years!
Different planets complete a full rotation around the sun at different speeds, depending on their distance and mass from the sun. On Saturn, which is very far away from the sun, in our 39.7 years we would have only gone around the sun 1.2 times, thus we would be 1.2 Saturn years old. Meanwhile, on the opposite end, Mercury is very close to the sun, so it completes a rotation around the sun fairly quickly. So on Mercury we would be 164.6 Mercury years old! Fascinating!
Finally, we can also look at our weekly life calendar, to see how our life has progressed thus far:
This assumes we make it to the age of 90, which is above average even in the western world. However, we can compare this chart to the average American’s life calendar to see what phases we have gone through:
